Noraly en Carine ontmoetten elkaar in 2015, tijdens hun eerste baan als advocaat bij een internationaal advocatenkantoor op de Amsterdamse Zuidas. Hoewel zij werkzaam waren binnen verschillende praktijkgroepen (arbeidsrecht en vastgoed), werkten zij ook toen al samen in diverse kantoorbrede M&A-trajecten.
In 2018 rondde zij de Beroepsopleiding voor Advocaten én de Law Firm School gelijktijdig af.

Na enkele jaren afzonderlijk ervaring te hebben opgedaan als bedrijfsjurist, besloten Noraly en Carine hun krachten te bundelen en startten zij Meeuwisse & Russel Legal.
Noraly Meeuwisse is gespecialiseerd in het Nederlandse arbeidsrecht en staat zowel werknemers als werkgevers bij.
Zij begeleid haar klanten in alle facetten van het arbeidsrecht. Denk aan het opstellen en beoordelen van arbeidsovereenkomsten en arbeidsvoorwaarden, ontslagprocedures en vaststellingsovereenkomsten, disfunctioneren, ziekte en re-integratie.
Noraly zoekt altijd naar een constructieve oplossing die recht doet aan de belangen van haar klanten. Maar wanneer een juridische procedure onvermijdelijk is, weet zij ook de gang naar de kantonrechter te vinden.
Naast haar specialisme in het arbeidsrecht kun je bij Noraly ook terecht voor vraagstukken op het gebied van het algemene contractenrecht, zoals het opstellen, beoordelen en uitonderhandelen van overeenkomsten.
Carine Russel is gespecialiseerd in huurrecht en algemeen contractenrecht en staat zowel grote bedrijven als (beginnende) ondernemers bij.
Zij adviseert onder meer over (raam)koop- en verkoopovereenkomsten, samenwerkingsovereenkomsten, distributie- en dienstverleningsovereenkomsten, huurovereenkomsten en algemene voorwaarden (B2B en B2C).
Door haar jarenlange ervaring in zowel de advocatuur als het bedrijfsleven weet Carine hoe juridische precisie en commerciële belangen samenkomen.

Noraly and Carine met in 2015, shortly after graduating, during their first jobs as lawyers at an international law firm in Amsterdam’s Zuidas district.
Although they worked in different practice areas (employment law and real estate), they already collaborated on several firm-wide M&A projects.
In 2018, both successfully completed the Professional Training for Lawyers (Beroepsopleiding Advocaten) and the Law Firm School at the same time.

After gaining several years of experience separately as legal counsel, they decided to join forces and founded Meeuwisse & Russel Legal.
Noraly Meeuwisse specializes in Dutch employment law and represents both employees and employers.
​
She guides her clients through all aspects of employment law, including drafting and reviewing employment contracts and employment conditions, dismissal procedures and settlement agreements, underperformance issues, illness, and reintegration.
​
Noraly always strives for a constructive solution that serves her clients’ best interests. However, when legal proceedings are unavoidable, she is well-versed in representing clients before the subdistrict court.

In addition to her expertise in employment law, Noraly can also assist with general contract law matters, such as drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements.
Carine specializes in tenancy law and general contract law, representing both large companies and (start-up) entrepreneurs.
​
She advises on, among other things, (framework) purchase and sales agreements, cooperation agreements, distribution and service agreements, lease agreements, and general terms and conditions (B2B and B2C).

With many years of experience in both the legal profession and the corporate world, Carine understands how to balance legal precision with commercial interests.
